「テーブル」タグ

　「テーブル」とは、コンピュータの世界では「表」のことを現すことが
　よくあります。

　Netscapeでのhtmlタグの拡張のひとつに、この「テーブル」が利用できるようになった事が
　あげられます。

　データベースやワークシートでよく見かける、数字や項目が載った、◎行×▲列の表
　を御存知でしょうか。
　あのような「表」が、ページ上に表現されるもの、と考えればわかりやすいかも知れません。

　実際に見てみましょう。

ここでは「表（テーブル）」の中身に数字（テキスト）を入れていますが、「テーブル」には
画像のようなテキスト以外の要素も入れられます。
テーブルの中に、さらにテーブルを入れることもできますし、前のセクションで
御説明の時に使ったように、

If everything else failed, it may be the case that the display driver is not sending correct information about the current graphics mode. Check Help/Device Caps and Help/Diag- nosis and see if they provide the in- formation you would expect. If not, try unchecking "Auto quantize setup" in Options/Interface, and set Options/Quantize manually with for characteristics you believe your card (and driver) are set to provide.

こんな感じで「１行×１列のテーブル」にして、単に外ワクとして使うこともできます。
